Our scheduled speakers for 2012:

Feb. 5, 2012: Bobbie Lawson - Professor, artist, and docent, Bobbie will present a program to show and emphasize the commonality of all the arts including architecture. Artists of all stripes share the same problem-solving skills.

Mar. 4, 2012: Sandra Anderson - Seacoast member and exhibiting photographer will present a program to emphasize the photographing of flowers. 

April 1, 2012 - TBA

May 6, 2012: Pat Smelkoff - Well-known artist and teacher, Pat will discuss and demonstrate the art of Russian stroke painting.

Our January, 2012 speaker and presenter was April Bensch. April gave the members a presentation about the various faux finishing options available.

Our December, 2011 General Meeting was at the Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet. Our Guest speaker was Jolyn Kuhn who gave our members pointers on how they can take photos of their artwork with a digital camera.

NOVEMBER 2010 MEETING

Our guest presenter Eric Heiden spoke on "An Introduction to Artography".  Mr. Heiden, a retired dentist formerly from Florence, has been involved with the art of photography for over 50 years.  His photographs have been published in local newspapers, and many other publications such as "South Carolina Sportsman" magazines and Chamber of Commerce brochures.  His presentation included information from lighting and composition through framing.
